How to bike with ankle weights
Method
#4
|
Purpose: If you don’t have enough money to buy a stationary bike, you can buy a normal bicycle… Here’s how to customize it.. First, I pull out chain.. Second, I remove the back tire (optional).. Third, I anchor the front tire with plastic containers.. Fourth, I put a chair behind the bike so I can comfortably bike in a horizontal direction.. As a result, I basically transform a normal bicycle into a stationary bike. |
|
|
Step 1b: You need to remove the chain, and leave the
back tire alone if it does not bother you from stationary biking. Note that by pulling out the chain, the
pedals immediately lose its resistance and are not as strong as before;
therefore, that’s the reason why you need to wear ankle weights to increase
the intensity. |
Step 2: Once you have pulled out the chain. You need to put a chair right behind the bike. Also, find some plastic containers, boxes, or desk to anchor the front tire from shaking or moving. |
|
Step 3: Strap foam or safety pads around your shin bone and get ready to bike. |
Step 4a: I’m comfortably biking.. the reason that the pedals freely rotate while the tires are on the ground because I already remove the chain.. |
|
Step 4b: I’m stationary biking at another angle. |
Step 4c: Me & King are stationary biking. |
