Kicking

At first, I’ve developed a
routine to kick while comfortably sitting on a chair. The purpose is to kick
very low but do not touch the ground, so to conserve your energy for the next
kick and to protect your knee. Basically perform 10 kicks with your left leg,
then rest, and immediately do 10 more kicks with your right leg.
It took me about a month to
finally come up with another technique for kicking, which is to kick in a vertical
position. Basically raise your left leg up about 5 inches from the floor
(about 12 cm).. Do not raise
too high. Next, slightly cock your leg back & prepare to kick downward. |
